Change directory in the Total Commander file manager.
Undoubtedly changing the current directory for one of the two Total Comander's panels is a highly frequent command. Using
Meta Commander is a faster way of executing it. Standard approach used in Total Comander
requires selecting a drive and gradually navigating through the subfolders.
This produces nothing but innumerable mouse clicks on the way to the target
file.Meta Commander minimizes necessary mouse action to a single click.
Whole operation takes just a few seconds to complete. The effect is as more considerable as more complicated folders tree structure is operated.

1) Right click on the drive selection list to bring up Total Comander’s menu.
2) Select the
"My computer" option. All available disks will be shown as the menu items. Choosing a disk
opens a submenu containing folders located on that disk. In its turn,
choosing one of the folders displays its subfolders as submenu entries.
Proceeding in such a successive manner you will get to the target directory.
The last step is to click the "Change folder" option.
3) It was as simple as that without this annoying double-click. We are in the target folder. It's time to continue working with Total Comander in a usual manner.
